Protecting your privacy is important to Canadian Club Hamilton (“CCH”). In order to keep our followers/participants  information private, this privacy policy must be flexible and may change from time to time.

What personal information does CCH collect and how is it used?

The Canadian Club of Hamilton does not have members, but it does have a contact list of interested individuals so collects and stores your name, title, company name, address, home telephone number, business telephone number, home fax number, business fax number, email address, as well as credit card number and expiration date when you purchase attendance at an events presented by CCH. The CCH will remove your name from the Club database upon your request to do so. If you would like to access or update your contact information or change your subscription request, please contact info[at]canadianclubhamilton.com.

Ticket Orders: CCH collects your name, company name, address, business telephone number, business fax number, email address, and credit card number and expiration date when you purchase tickets for CCH events. CCH will retain the credit card information until the payment is processed, unless CCH is otherwise requested to keep the information on file.

Statistical and Market Research

CCH collects non personal information related to the use of the CCH website for statistical and marketing purposes; for example, the number of visitors to the CCH website.

General Requests for Information by email, phone, or mail: CCH collects the personal information you provide to CCH (such as your name, email address and telephone number), and will use such information only for the purposes of responding to your correspondence or requests. For example, if you want information about an upcoming event, you can call CCH for information on the event; CCH will ask for your name and fax email, so that it can email you the information, and will discard your name and email after sending you the information.

To the extent that you provide personal information about another person, you represent and warrant that you have received the consent of that person to disclose the personal information to CCH for the purposes stated in this privacy policy.

Does the CCH website use cookies?

Cookies are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a website. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive. Cookies can remember what information a user accesses on one web page to simplify subsequent interactions with that website by the same user or to use the information to streamline the user’s transactions on related web pages. Use of cookies on this website is limited to maintaining session state for online ordering and other applications which require identification of session state. CCH does not store your cookie information after your session.

CCH does not disclose or sell to third parties personal information that it has collected, unless you specifically instruct CCH to do so. CCH will transfer your personal information to third party processors in order to, for example, send you information related to CCH that you have requested or process your credit card payment.

How does the CCH protect personal information it receives from you?

CCH protects your personal information with security safeguards commensurate with the sensitivity level of the information. Personal information captured via forms on the CCH website is encrypted using SSL before transmission to the server. This data may be stored in a secured database and can be retrieved by authorized users only.
